Job Description DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (List in order of importance; include any supervisoryor management responsibilities)General support of KAR Institutional Sales MD and KAR Director of Consultant Relations in their new business development activitiesDevelop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the KAR equity portfolios so as to provide secondary sales and marketing support of KAR Institutional Sales MD and Director of Consultant Relations in providing information to prospective clients and institutional consultantsUncover cross-selling opportunities through prospective client and/or consultant interactionsCollaborate with KAR institutional team members on the development and production of educational white paper content to further support KAR’s efforts to be identified as a “thought leader” in the asset classes it manages toAssist in scheduling/coordinating institutional client meetings, including providing background information on the prospective client to all meeting attendees.

Schedule “prep” meetings, as necessary, to prepare all meeting attendeesCollaborate with other KAR Institutional Team members to provide general support in the ongoing servicing of clients, prospective clients and consultantsServe as second point of contact for clients for any service requirementsAssist in scheduling/coordinating institutional client portfolio meetings, providing appropriate meeting material to meeting attendees for review prior to meetingsUncover cross-selling opportunities through client interactionsIdentify potential institutional sales opportunities through technology resources (Evestment, FinDaily, etc.) Review daily information from institutional market data providers to identify potential search activityResponsible for developing a comprehensive “competitive intelligence” platform, by gathering pertinent data with the goal of developing insight and potential “competitive edge” so as to best prepare the KAR team for each potential institutional opportunity.

This data gathering would includeInformation on the prospective clients, including information on the key decision makers.Information on institutional consultants who are advising prospective clientsInformation on primary competitors in each asset class, provide comparison analytics and commentary on how to best position KAR vs competitors.

Identify peers that could be in redemption due to corporate changes or poor performanceAssist in providing fee data for RFP requests and competitive biddingProvide quarterly report that provides analysis of purchasing trends in equity asset classesProvide quarterly information on general industry trends (ESG, diversity requirements, etc.) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (education, experience, certifications, licenses & skills required)CFA PreferredBachelor’s Degree (Finance/Marketing)5-7 years of work experience in the financial services industry, specifically, investment/asset managementStrong writing and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and EvestmentPro-active approach to accuracy and attention to details.Analytical skills with the ability to dig inAbility to meet deadlines and respond to requests in a timely mannerKnowledge of Salesforce CRM
