Job Description
Become an integral part of Porter Blue Apparel, pairing Style with Sustainability. You will join a team of seasoned Fashion executives to build and manage wholesale accounts.
Seeking an Independent Sales Representative who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, a self starter and eager to travel on the road (or virtually) to meet customers. Living and promoting a sustainable lifestyle encouraged. Immediate results = Immediate compensation.
As an Independent Sales Representative for Porter Blue Apparel, you will be responsible for reaching out and traveling to, as well as generating orders from, a designated territory. We?re looking for eager sales professionals to jump in and hit the ground running and help grow our business.
Unlimited earning potential, commissioned based, flexible schedule, road travel required (or virtually depending on Covid measures). We are an employee centered business and truly believe in empowering all employees to own their part of the business like its their own.

Responsibilities:
- Work independently and alongside the business Owner on growing sustainable, independent retailers, specialty store businesses, and national buyers across major metropolitan markets from coast to coast
- Create a Sales Roadmap to achieve and exceed seasonal and annual sales goals
- Utilization of prepared marketing materials provided by Porter Blue
- Prepare for, and present collections during road and virtual appointments
- Ability to Work both Independently and collaboratively
- Ability to be current and on trend of current market trends within the assigned territory
- Able to identify and Forecast new trends that they see within their market, provide trend reporting our to Porter Blue team
- Shared successes, we’re a growing business, and open to any and all feedback to make Porter Blue a Sustainable brand for decades to come.
- Provide Market strategies, product proposals for your territories needs
Qualifications
- Fashion industry experience specifically in Denim
- Proven Track record with 3-5 years of wholesale sales experience (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (email etiquette) a must
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
