Job Summary of the Account Executive position
Our client, a world-class and progressive multicultural advertising agency in Los Angeles, CA seeks an Account Executive with new business development experience to identify integrated advertising opportunities for the agency. The role of the Account Executive is to identify and usher the client relationship, assist in orchestrating and integrating the services of the agency for the client, and ensure that the agency is providing the kind of consistent proactive thinking and added value that contributes to healthy and effective client relationships that result in growth.
Responsibilities of the Account Executive position
Facilitatesinvestigationandresearchintoeach business opportunitytoensure it is executedin a compelling and meaningful way.
Develop new business agenda,formatandmaterial for initialmeetingsfocused on business development research and documents from introduction, investigation, positioning, and presentation.
Manage and respond to entire RFP, RFI, RFQ process,servingasinformationresourcecenter.
Contributestotheoverall new businessdevelopmentstrategy
Assistswithevolvingpresentationoforganization’scapabilitieswithafocusonrelevance
Collaboratestokeeppipelinefullandappropriatelyqualifyingallincomingleads
Establish and clarify expected outcomes for assignments and the client relationship in general.
Be the SME and lead the agency teams in understanding, synthesizing, and utilizing the information.
Demonstrate critical thinking and thought leadership on a consistent and ongoing basis through participation in meetings, calls, and other client interactions.
Work with other agency functions to develop multi-channel, multidisciplinary plans, POV’s and recommendations, as required to keep the Agency top of mind to clients.
Assists the Strategy Team in briefing creative and connecting teams on major new initiatives.
Review and approve marketing briefs and make recommendations for completeness
Identify and orchestrate Agency resources to ensure integrated, cross-functional solutions.
Help to present work and recommendations to the client and secure client approvals.
Develop spending and budget recommendations.
Forecast and estimate Agency resources for a specific project.
Develop, present, and negotiate annual agency fees and budgets.
Ensure clients’ perception that agency consistently provides value-added services.
Monitor and evaluate all costs, budgets from within the Team.
Requirements of the Account Executive position
2+ years of previous strategy-focused,advertising-specific AccountServices experience.
Integrated advertising and managing multicultural-targeted campaigns and clients.
Proven track record of success in the advertising and marketing space.
Multicultural advertising required.
