Job Description Score Sports, a leader in sports apparel and equipment for over 45 years is looking for an energetic inside sales representative to work at our headquarters in Wilmington, CA. As an inside sales rep you will manage existing accounts as well develop new business and territory growth. Summary: Responsible for supporting the company’s sales goals through professional sales techniques and good customer service, maintaining quality relations with existing accounts, and providing sales and marketing coverage by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Answer incoming sales calls via telephone, written inquiries and facsimile requests Develops maximum sales potential out of assigned territory through competitive sales techniques, good customer service and knowledge of the company’s products and services as well as the competition’s strengths/weaknesses. Applies knowledge of company products/services to efficiently process customer information and respond to inquiries and complaints in a diplomatic manner. Understand and support established sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to customers. Builds and maintains quality relations with existing assigned accounts, and increases account base and volume of sales on a consistent basis through ongoing determination for customer requirements. Contacts customers via telephone, correspondence or in person by traveling as frequently as necessary to meet and surpass profitable sales goals for the company. Reevaluates work on an ongoing basis to increase market share. Assesses quality of offerings and develops opinion reports on strategies to increase the company’s market share. Creates customized proposals to meet specific customer requirements in an efficient manner by calculating prices, discounts and proposals. Stays abreast of market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings and new technologies through available resources. Utilizes company leads to expand current customer base and follows up all leads promptly. Maintains updates, organizes files on all accounts in assigned territory. Completes and submits sales reports each week on account activity, outstanding proposals, proposals secured and proposals lost with complete documentation. Analyzes customer accounts and promptly makes corrections and/or modifications to files. Contacts customers to obtain missing information or data to ensure an accurate customer database. Provides information and/or follows up on customer as requested. Represents the company at trade shows and board meetings as required. Understand and respond to customer delivery needs by interfacing with internal personnel. Traces and expedites late orders to ensure customer satisfaction. Process all paperwork for orders to include sales contracts, prints and related documentation. Resolve customer concerns in an expeditious and tactful manner. Performs other related duties as assigned.
