– particularly with higher-ed and for-profits.

You will help build an excellent sales team and a strategy with high sales targets.

You’ll be working closely with the marketing teams, CEO and CTO within a start-up environment to help scale and grow the company.

Nobody checks every box, and we’re looking for someone who’s excited to join the team!What You’ll Be Doing:Help develop and execute sales strategy Build talent pipeline; coach, train, motivate and grow an effective sales teamBe hands-on also close deals yourselfEnable your team to hit individual and team sales targets through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities in new and existing accountsDrive leads through creative means and/or work with the marketing team to create campaigns and webinars and other demand generation tacticsGather and synthesize customer insights and requirements to help our product and marketing teams deliver the best customer experienceMaintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscapeWhat You’ll Need:5+ years of individual contributor sales experience; 3+ years of managing and growing a sales team from a SaaS startupRecently at a technology company no older than 8 years and less than 200 employees Successful experience in sales leadership in a tech start-up environmentMust be an exceptional individual contributor and coach who can execute alongside a team and also develop and execute strategyData-driven and well-versed in numbersProven success in sales
– lead generation, deal closure, and account managementStrong leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills What’d Be Cool To Have:Knowledge of SaaS economics metrics such as LTV, CAC, and churnB2B marketing experienceProduct sense
