FT Sales Associate, Virtual Store

Joybird is looking for Sales Associates for our Virtual Store based in Commerce CA.

Our Virtual Store is a new department with the goal of bringing our in-store experience to our website.

We want to bring a “human touch” to our online sales experience.

This role will focus specifically on helping customers on our website with sales, product questions and general support.

They will do this primarily via our online chat/video platform.

They should be comfortable on video and their personality should shine through regardless of platform!

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving work environment as Joybird builds out our Virtual Store experience.

This role will require working cross functionally with our Retail and Customer Experience teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Communicate directly with Joybird customers via Chat Platform, Phone and Video.
  • Give expert advice on Joybird products and sales support for all customers.
  • Help troubleshoot and problem solve where needed.
  • Guide customers through our Virtual Store as if they were there in person.
  • Hit sales goals and grow our Virtual Store business.
  • Give feedback to Management on what’s working and what’s not.

Who You Are:

  • Have Retail Sales Experience or Customer Experience background
  • Excited to be a pioneer on the front lines of a new and exciting department
  • Have a passion for giving excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solver and in-it-together mindset
  • Your personality shines through on text, chat and email!
  • Very comfortable with Communication Applications (text, voice, video).

    For example: Slack, FaceTime, iMessage, WhatsApp, Zoom, etc.
