As an Account Executive , the focus of this position is to assume a leadership role over select client relationships providing hands-on project management for complex assignments, and collaborating closely with the internal team to oversee service delivery.

The Account Executive will assume accountability for multi-disciplinary projects, including planning/budgeting, assuring the delivery of quality work products, and leading select client-facing activities.

Responsibilities
· Manage an assigned book of business and build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing clients.

· Meet retention and profitability goals for assigned book of business.

· Uncover and pursue cross-sell opportunities within the assigned book of business.

· Identify appropriate solutions to address each client’s risk/capital management needs.

· Cultivate strong relationships with the senior buyer(s) and decision-maker(s) in each client organization as well as with day-to-day client representatives.

· Maintain a high level of credibility and working relationship with insurance carriers.

· Work closely with Account Representatives to ensure all of the client’s service and support needs are met throughout the benefits lifecycle.

· Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish assigned work.

· Support the Managing Partner and Producers.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree.

· 5 or more years of client coordination and/or claims management experience in a broker or carrier organization.

· Appropriately licensed and/or certified.

· Thorough understanding of benefits and benefits processing (medical, dental, vision, LTD, STD, Life, FSA, HSA, HRA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.).

· Working knowledge of state and federal compliance laws.

· Able and willing to travel at least 25% of the time for networking, prospecting, and to client locations and industry events.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications, specifically MS Office.

· Excellent speaking and presentation skills to convey information effectively and comfortable with public speaking.
