This individual needs to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to provide the highest levels of professionalism and customer service.

Provide prospective customers with all services offered and additional presentations as needed.

Work with the client to create solutions for their needs and consult through the sales process.

Knowledge of municipal / utilities platforms desirable.

Must be energetic, well spoken, and eager to assist in the sales process.

Duties and Responsibilities: Research, develop, and implement municipal and government contracts Develop e-mobility platform as it relates to material handling Research government / municipal grants as they relate to electrification within the Alta enterprise Maintain database (CRM) of client information.

Track performance weekly, monthly, and quarterly Re-institute Alta GSA program Sales lead wing to wing responsibility Research / Maintain Customer Testimonials Maintain current Municipal Contracts Trade Group involvement (WERC, MHEDA, Business After Hours, etc.) Incorporate Alta’s Guiding Principals into daily activities Performs other duties as assigned Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time Qualifications Qualifications and Background Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers Persuasive and goal-oriented Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories Self-motivated and self-directed Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client Ability to work as active member of a team Previous experience with inside sales or related sales experience preferred Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred Language Skills
– Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills
– Intermediate: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability
– Intermediate: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands/Work Environment: Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use hands, talk/hear, sit, will reach with hands and arms; Occasionally will stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Lift and/or Move Functions: Frequently will lift up to 10 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 50 pounds About Alta: Culture is Job 1.
