Client Development Representative

Our team is solving a huge problem that requires big-picture thinkers who are motivated to make a real difference through their work. We’re looking to hire an engaging, self-directed, results-oriented Client Development Representative (CDR) to provide pre-sales support. This role will be responsible for qualifying opportunities through inbound leads and targeting outbound prospects. As one of the first touch points for prospective customers with the potential to set the tone for the entire sales cycle, the CDR role demands nothing less than exceptional active listening, EQ, and analytical skills. What You’ll Do: Build a strong pipeline of prospective customers Engage with and qualify inbound leads and inquiries Source and solicit outbound prospective customers Schedule appointments, introductions, and demos for Altruist Act as the subject matter expert on Altruist offerings Correlate customer pain points and needs with value that can be provided by Altruist Present relevant Altruist benefits to customers based on identified needs Follow-up post-sign-up to ensure satisfaction and a smooth onboarding experience Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM Work closely with other teams (CS, Marketing) to develop account intelligence Implement creative ways to engage and build rapport to maintain your prospect pipeline Achieve and exceed daily KPI’s and monthly quota What You’ll Bring 2+ years of experience in similar role, preferably B2B, SaaS, financial services Solid understanding of the independent wealth management industry (e.g., RIAs) Proven track record for articulating product value, assessing fit, and building rapport Exemplary written, verbal, presentation, and active listening skills High emotional intelligence Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events Approach all job responsibilities with a sense of urgency and attention to detail; tenacious drive to exceed expectations Team mindset focused on setting each other up for success Comfortable being a follower, leader, or teammate as occasion demands; low ego Proficient with core sales tools: CRM Platform (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.), Zendesk, Google Apps, Microsoft Office Ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team BA/BS degree or relevant experience FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 or 63 licensed (preferred), or the ability to complete these examinations in your first 180 days What You’ll Get At Altruist you’ll work with a talented group of hungry creators looking to disrupt our industry.
