What will you be doing?

As a Carrier Sales Representative, your goal will be to develop and maintain relationships between carriers and Best Bay Logistics.

With a strong logistics industry experience, you will actively source new carrier capacity and focus on the relationships you make.

While upholding our commitment to service, you will be the main contact for carrier relations and as a successful candidate, you will grow your portfolio every day.

Main Responsibilities:
Generate new carrier relationships through cold calling Successfully negotiate with new and existing carriers to obtain new business Foster strong relationships with key operational team members including drivers and dispatchers Be proactive in identifying issues and resolving problems Ensure shipment details are actively communicated to drivers and monitored in our TMS Work with back office and customer sales teams to ensure seamless billing and collection process

Requirements:
1 year logistics industry experience is required Bachelor’s degree preferred Track record of growing and maintaining carrier relationships Driven individual with desire to problem solve Can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Must be able to meet performance metrics Detail oriented and ability to multitask Excellent communication skills with both internal and external team members
