JOB DESCRIPTION: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE Position Background: We are seeking a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE to expand Everytable’s food service customer base, using prospecting strategies to identify prospects and initiate the first outreach with potential customers.
This individual will be disciplined, internally motivated, organized, detail-oriented and a team player with a passion for building a game-changing social enterprise.
POSITION TITLE: Business Development Representative REPORTING TO: Senior Director, Business Development WORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH: * Sales Operations* Business Development Associates* Marketing KEY RESULT AREAS: Broken down into the following categories: Business Development 75% Administration 20% Special Projects 5% Total 100% Business Development * Analyze current customer base to identify potential sales opportunities* Review RFP sourcing databases to identify potential sales opportunities* Qualifying Marketing Qualified Leads as Sales Qualified Leads* Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails* Research and source contacts for sequence campaigns * Collaborate with Marketing team, as assigned, to development marketing materials that feature Everytable’s food service* Present Everytable product at showcase events* Source potential leads through sample deliveries* Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients with Business Development Associates Administration * Ensure timely and thorough completion and updates of all required documentation for sales accounts, including client files and CRM entries* Stay up to date with Everytable products, services and pricing strategies* Assist in maintaining and improving cross-departmental communication and synergy Special Projects (5%) * Coordinate special projects as needed for business development, as needed (e.g.
research and coordinating with other stakeholders on operational requirements for food service products.)
