Business Development Representative

The Role:
We are looking for a remote Business Development Representative who will be responsible for developing relationships with brands selling products on Amazon that will resonate with all of the Brainjolt audiences.

We’ve got some of the largest online properties in the world from to to and this role will help monetize the content.

You will work across multiple teams to seize opportunities for revenue growth.

You need to be equal parts farmer and hunter with the ability to start something and finish it.
You are someone that gets lost on the internet, able to research the uncontactable, and have the ability to creatively solve problems.

You will live and breathe our Think, Copy, Hack, Test, and Finish model every single day.

The right person has a passion for content, growth, and business development.

Be aware, no two days are ever the same.
You will:
Prospect and qualify new sales opportunities based on research, internal recommendations and, product performance Research potential partners identifying contact information and reaching out via both email and phone Manage the entire process from outreach, to developing the strategies for pitches, ultimately leading to closing your own deals Maintain your pipeline and report on progress Hubspot; you’ll be reporting on this regularly to key team members Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and partners in order to meet and/or exceed objectives Work with internal teams including editorial, in order to develop the product offerings and optimize sales efforts based on partner feedback Scale and automate systems where possible

You should be ready to:
Demonstrate how your experience in a similar role will make an impact from day 1 as this isn’t your first time being in a business development role Meet and exceed sales quotas Communicate effectively regardless of medium from email, to phone, to Zoom Have a start-up mindset; you’re a scrappy self-starter with a focus on iteration and pragmatism Fail often but quickly pivot your strategy to improve results Evolve as you are never satisfied, realizing no process is perfect, and no problem unsolvable Pair with thought-partners and focus on solving the problem, not just being right.

While you’re more comfortable in the driver’s seat, you’re able to act as navigator
