is seeking a Junior Sales Executive to join our Los Angeles sales team.

This is a challenging position for hard-working and highly motivated sales professional with the energy and passion to grow business from prospective media and entertainment customers.She / he will be responsible for promoting and selling cloud-based services that include workflow management, storage, scheduling and delivery of files & on-demand video contentfrom / to studios, film & TV distributors, OTT and VOD digital platforms, broadcasters and post-production companies.Responsibilities: *Acting as a contact between Arkena and prospective customers in the US and latAm*Gather market and companies information, research new business opportunities*Generate leads and follow up on highly qualified inbound leads*Cold calls to initiate contact, to identify decision makers and to arrange meetings*Manage and develop the relationship with prospects and qualify the opportunities*Understand the customers / prospects’ requirements in term of asset management workflow and video content distribution strategy*Recommend services based on prospects’ requirement and observed industry trends*Sell Arkena’s Cloud4Media services to prospective content right holders, distributors, broadcasters, service providers and digital services*Negotiate agreement terms and close new accounts in the territory (USA, LatAm)*Provide sales reporting to management and weekly updates on internal sales tools*Travel to attend trade shows and meet customers as neededDesired Skills and Experience: *Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and in Spanish*Both excellent active listening and persuasion skills*Street smarts, emotional intelligence*Energy, humor, enthusiasm*Highly entrepreneurial work ethic; show initiative with strong ability to work well within a small team environment*The candidate must be able to present the company’s service features, benefits, pricing*Familiarity and/or expertise in one or more of the following areas is preferred: media and entertainment technology products and services, IaaS / SaaS, Content Delivery Network, OTT, encoding and transcoding services, digital electronic delivery, digital asset management, digital assets storage*Exceptional attitude to understand the technology revolving around the digital media and entertainment industry*Ability to apprehend the operational and business needs of a firm*Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches*Minimum of 2 years direct sales experience in relevant industries (Entertainment, Digital Media, Post-Production, Video asset management, Broadcast)About this company: Arkena (www.Arkena.Com) is a technology company helping companies with innovative and successful video solutions.Formerly TDF Media Services, is part of the TDF Group.
