Airgas Inc.: Dry Ice Blasting Sales Specialist

Under the direction of the Product Manager, Dry Ice Blasting, the incumbent will represent Red-D-Arc’s dry ice blasting product line with responsibility for driving rental growth and developing new business across industrial contracting, plant operations, energy sectors, manufacturing and fabrication industries, food and beverage, and remediation segments.

Extensive collaboration with regional sales teams to facilitate product introductions, develop solutions, and cultivate/capture rental opportunities.

Also, partners with supporting OEM’s, internal/external strategic affiliates, and Airgas/Air Liquide channels to surface opportunities and penetrate key growth accounts in target sectors.

Essential FunctionsMaintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety guidelines.Develop current and potential customer relationships in order to obtain or surpass the yearly revenue budgets in line with company procedures and targets.Provides technical sales assistance and work with the local selling team to increase business of existing and new accounts.Support existing regional sales team with product and application guidance, as well as training when needed.Compiles lists of prospective customers from various sources for use as sales leads.Records daily and weekly activities in the CRM system.Establishes a customer base in which to promote and solicit new and on-going business.Calls on regular and prospective customers by phone and by traveling throughout assigned territory to solicit orders and close sales.Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or brochures and emphasizes marketable features.Quote prices, contract terms, estimated delivery date, and credit terms to customers.Coordinate with appropriate branch office to prepare sales contracts, other documentation, and/or collection for orders and projects.Prepares various reports and presentations as required for sales, client meetings, expenses, etc.Formulate sales revenue forecasting / projections.Prepare accurate and current progress reports to management on the status of all pending opportunities, estimated revenues of contracts and critical customer related activities.Performs other related duties as required.

EducationPost-secondary education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or equivalent required.

ExperienceFive years sales experience in the Rental Industry preferred.Five years sales experience in the rental or industrial gas industry preferred.Experience with dry ice blasting and related applications is essential.OEM sales experience in mfg & production industries, food & beverage, commercial coatings and surface preparation, and/or industrial maintenance sectors is a plus.
