Position Summary: Determines appropriate patient placement in the hospital by taking into consideration the diagnosis, symptoms, and patient#s age.

Initiates#admission process by obtaining demographic data, insurance information, and pre-certification or insurance authorization for admission, for all direct (urgent) admissions.#Assigns attending physician as directed.# Minimum Qualifications: 1+#years##registration experience plus 6+#months insurance verification experience.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: High School Diploma, GED#or equivalent.Work That Matters
