Bilingual Spanish/English A Plus Ideal Candidate: -Understands Accounting and Accounts Receivable terminology -Highly dependable -Learns quickly with ability to think/work independently with minimal supervision. -Experience managing receivables throughout cash flow cycle (from billing to collections) -Comfortable working directly with customers in a polite and courteous manner -Able to multitask proficiently -Able to commute to Downtown Los Angeles and have reliable transportation -Proficient at Excel, Word, Outlook and other basic computer applications Duties: -Cash Receipts -Processes credit memos, returns, short pays, disputed items and NSF checks. -Follow up and answers AR inquiries (phone, email, fax & letter correspondence.) -Works with Sales Reps to resolve customer issues. -Conducts collections of Accounts Receivable. -Analyze, reconciles and maintains correct customer AR information. -Prepares electronic bank deposits -Process and post incoming wire of funds and check payments. -Reconciles receipt posting. -Conducts credit check, credit review to establish appropriate open account line on new & existing customers. -Special projects as assigned -Provides accurate weekly and monthly aging reports.
