The Role at NFP
Summary: The Account Executive interacts with clients on a day-to-day basis while developing and maintaining relationships with both client and carrier representatives. The Account Executive will prepare applications, specifications and marketing strategy for new business as well as the renewals of assigned clients with some degree of supervision and approval from their Supervisor. This role may require the employee to take on the role of lead consultant and primary point of contact for their assigned clients. You will also manage a book of business and work with a team to provide sales support and multiple services to a range of mostly HNW clients. This is a servicing role, with no sales objectives.
We offer the flexibility of a hybrid or remote option. You must have experience and knowledge of the California P&C marketplace and have a CA property and casualty insurance license.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- California P&C market coverage experience required
- Familiarity with major markets, such as AIG, Chubb/ACE, and PURE
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly professional and self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with clients, colleagues, and carriers
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
Preferred Requirements
- Typically more than 5 years of industry and product line experience
- A bachelors degree or industry training designations
- CIC, CPCU or other P&C designation preferred
- In addition to familiarity with the major markets as mentioned above, a familiarity with carriers such as Travelers, Progressive, and national flood
- Comfort with Epic or other agency management system

- California Property & Casualty Broker’s License required upon hire
