Job Description The Lead PR is looking for a talented, eager, organized publicist to join our team in Los Angeles. Candidate should have at least two years experience of working in public relations for the fashion and lifestyle categories. Strong media contacts are required. Men’s fashion, women’s fashion, beauty and grooming contacts are preferred. We love creative pitchers, convincing writers and next level organizers. Warm, friendly vibes a must. Responsibilities Responsible for managing media relations and daily program responsibilities including writing media and client materials, as well as pitching and securing placements in strategic outlets Develops story ideas and creative pitches for targeted media Proven ability to place product and news stories in top-tier media Understands and contributes to media strategy documents Aggressively pursues new media angles and story opportunities Responsible for day-to-day interaction with clients Manage junior staff and interns Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge Requirements Bachelor’s degree, plus 2 years minimum of business experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Proficiency in Google Ability to harness financial data to inform decisions Benefits You are eligible to participate in the Companys medical health insurance program as well as our annual wellness benefit in a addition to generous PTO and work from home options.
