AIG has an exciting opportunity to join the Property team and manage and grow your own book of business in global property.
This is a key underwriting role incorporating broker engagement, loss prevention, and risk mitigation on a team utilizing market leading capacity and capabilities in the property market.

- Assume an active role in all aspects of the segment’s business, including marketing, risk evaluation, proposal development and binding of accounts.
- Be responsible for marketing and underwriting surplus lines property business through brokers in the Western zone.
- Manage and grow a challenging book of business as well as underwrite and market property products.
TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years of relevant professional experience.
Commercial Insurance Company, Agency or Brokerage experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
- Demonstrated sales, marketing, and relationship building experience.
- Working knowledge of Retail Property products is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in dynamic, rapidly changing environment, adapting to changing requirements and collaborating with a wide range of colleagues to quickly deliver solutions, especially regarding technical aspects.
- Comfort with financial statements, analytical tools and technology
