Specialist, Retail 3rd Party eCommerce

The Specialist, Retail 3rd Party eCommerce is responsible for the productivity of our brand’s third-party accounts, including 3rd party retailer .com sites as well as our offline retailer home shopping channels and select distributor partners. The role will also lead other business priorities related to Algenist sales and marketing at the direction of the Associate Director, Business Development.RESPONSIBILITIES:•Manage with minimum supervision all 3rd party retailer account materials, including assortment MSRP/RRP and cost pricing details as well as retailer account specific marketing calendars, detailing Algenist agreed upon promotional support•Ensure promotional marketing sampling by key accounts and all free of cost purchase orders are delivered in a timely fashion to execute against confirmed marketing activations; follow-up with partners on any outstanding deliverables required to successfully execute. Send samples as needed to support candidate submissions as well as for photography and social campaign requirements once sampling confirmed by retailer•Liaise internally with Operations for any promotional forecasting and demand planning updates as Algenist and retailer calendars evolve throughout the year•Lead reporting of 3rd party marketing support (capture, catalog and publish images of executed email, social and any offline if appropriate) for weekly and monthly retailer account reporting as requested •Partner with all assigned retailer accounts to launch all new product development, including sending buyer and photography samples as needed, completing new line forms with all required information as well as submitting all associated digital assets required by each individual retailer account to support new product launches•Own Algenist presence on all 3rd party retailer .com sites. Audit on an ongoing basis by retailer account Algenist brand and product pages. Ensure for both new business as well as existing retailer accounts the most current product, lifestyle and social images are provided in a timely fashion via dropbox or wetransfer per individual retailer requirements•Partner with with Product Development and Operations to ensure all UK and EU required product registration and materials are completed on time and submitted to international accounts as needed; for home shopping channels, this would include all quality assurance materials, new product specification cards and legal clinical and consumer claim as well as before and after submissions to support on-air sales•Lead the international on air and .com home shopping channel business by confirming and tracking airings and their results, booking models as needed, tracking related invoicing (models, hosts, set materials, etc.) and creating and maintaining a database of on air sell sheets and associated approved assets for hosts•Partner ongoing with retailer accounts to ensure all materials requested are provided in a timely fashion and then executed against by the appropriate individual retailer account contacts (buyers, planners, logistics, marketing, etc.). •Partner with Operations as needed to help resolve any logistical challenges associated with accounts•Constantly review 3rd party retailer stock position and identify any inconsistencies in retailer product positioning (unexpected out of stocks, pricing discrepancies, launches by region, etc.)•Assist with retailer Market meetings including preparation of PowerPoint presentations and other Market meeting materials as required; if attendance in retailer meetings is appropriate, specialist will own deliverables by attendee and track against overall retailer account project timelines•Perform other assigned projects and functions as directed by management QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:•Bachelor’s degree required and/or equivalent experience•3 to 5 years of relevant work experience•Background in skincare, cosmetics, or consumer packaged goods industry a plus •Strong work ethic and sense of urgency with a professional and positive attitude•Must be highly organized, detail oriented, resourceful, and adept at prioritizing and juggling multiple projects simultaneously to meet tight deadlines •Excellent verbal and written communication as well as basic retail math skills •Proficiency with Outlook; proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint/Word required•Previous experience with international markets is helpful though not requiredEOEPRINCIPALS ONLYNO AGENCIES OR THIRD PARTIESIn compliance with those new legal requirements, you can find Algenist’s Privacy Notice at Collection under the following link:
