Senior Sales Executive – National Retail Accounts

The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for the growth and retention with brand specific franchisees of national account(s), primarily in the convenience store and grocery segments. The Senior Sales Executive develops & deploys strategies for the territory, with the support of the National Account Manager and other cross-functional teams as needed, to achieve growth and retention goals as well as to sell new products and services. The Senior Sales Executive is the primary relationship manager for large/medium-sized franchisees in their assigned portfolio. This is an individual contributor position; the Senior Sales Executive is not responsible for managing a sales team.Brands: All regional & national retail (convenience stores and grocery) chains.Primary Job Accountabilities:* Develop a national strategic account plan (SAP) in support of executing the strategies established by the National Account Manager for each franchisee in the assigned portfolio* Use the SAP as the roadmap to build customer relationships with franchisees to achieve growth & retention objectives, secure tests and franchisee approval for new products and services, provide business updates and identify customer needs where we can provide additional value* Develop strong advocates and relationships across decision-makers and influencers for assigned accounts within territory* Develop and deliver effective sales and business review presentations to senior executives and large groups* Work independently and in collaboration within the Sales and Marketing teams to execute selling strategies to grow and retain our business within the assigned portfolio* Consistently achieve quarterly and annual goals for growth and retention to support RTI’s growth and goals overall* Proficient daily use of CRM to track contacts, activities and sales pipeline* Conduct research, create sales materials, presentations, business cases and contracts (new and renewals)* Ensure smooth roll-out for customer installsEducation, Requirements & Competencies:* Bachelor’s degree and/or five or more years of outside sales experience* Recent outside sales experience growing and managing a national and/or regional accounts that required thoughtful strategic planning in order to meet and exceed goals. Experience in selling to grocery and convenience stores is a plus.* Successful track record of consistently meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual growth and retention goals* Excellent organizational planning, communication, and time management skills* Strong business and financial acumen* Strong relationship development and problem solving skills with a solutions based, team oriented mindset* Proven ability to adapt to change, be open to performance feedback, work successfully in a team environment, and influence others to execute a regional sales strategy* Ability to travel nationally, with regular overnight travel up to 75% required.* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other RT reporting systems (i.e. Micro Strategy, the data warehouse etc.)EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERRestaurant Technologies is committed to providing a work environment that is free from discrimination and harassment in any form.
