The Role
You are an energetic sales person who has a consultative sales approach, positive attitude, quick learner, successful track record and impeccable work ethic to develop and execute our retailer onboarding and sales strategy. The Retailer Sales Representative will be responsible for fostering existing business in North America while driving the company’s future growth by prospecting and building new relationships with retailers. You must demonstrate all the behaviors associated with a high performance sales culture, specifically creating and managing a high volume pipeline and delivering results against a quota while providing the best sales experience possible for our customers. Our platform brings the pen and paper process of wholesale sourcing online, offering retail buyers 10x more convenience and sellers a significantly more cost efficient distribution channel. Here’s what you’ll do:
- Identifying, cultivating and securing new retailer leads: __
- You’ll become the resident expert on the Fitzroy platform, the products available and current product trends.
- Identify prospects and generate interest though call and email outreach
- Communicate with prospects primarily over the phone with occasional in person meetings
- Conduct discovery meetings and present product demos
- Hit monthly quota goals for qualified leads
- Fostering and growing existing business:
- Stay connected with current accounts in order to encourage reorders and upsell additional products
- Maintain an organized and updated CRM
- Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals
- Perform at a high level in a high velocity sales environment to achieve sale goals
- Reports directly to Founder
What we’re looking for:
- Required experience:
- Bachelors’ Degree (BA/BS)
- 1-2 years B2B or B2C selling experience
- Proficient in Google documents, Microsoft Office Suite and Dropbox
- Experience leveraging a CRM to drive sales outcomes
- Experience cold calling
- Experience with remote and local selling processes
- Experience managing short sales cycles with high volume to exceed individual targets
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with a positive attitude while being unfazed by rejection
- Eager to learn, improve and receive coaching
- Demonstrate initiative, perseverance, autonomy and efficiency on a daily basis
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure
- Motivated to stay on top of current trends and new opportunities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
