We’re excited to announce an opening at Dia Natural Wine, our small but mighty, family-run wine shop located in Studio City, known for our emphasis on Natural Wine. This part-time role offers significant potential for growth, eventually transitioning into a full-time position for the right applicant. It’s a fantastic way to kickstart your career in the wine industry. We’re seeking a dynamic and professional individual who can juggle multiple tasks, provide exceptional customer service, and has experience in the wine sector. Preference will be given to candidates with WSET/CMS education.
As our Retail Sales Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Answering phone enquiries
- Preparing customer orders for dispatch or collection
- Managing in-store sales via our Point of Sale software system
- Interacting with customers, offering sales assistance and informed recommendations confidently
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Prior experience in wine sales and a sound knowledge of wines (WSET/CMS preferred)
- Availability to work during weekends, holidays, and adapt to a flexible schedule
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- The physical ability to lift, carry and/or transport up to 45 pounds
- Exceptional customer service skills, as frequent customer interaction is a key part of the role
- Basic computer skills
