PetStaurant: Key Holder / Sales For Pet Retail Store

Job SummaryNeed a key holder for our fun and busy pet retail store!

We are looking to hire at our Sherman Oaks and West LA Location.

The key holder is responsible for opening/closing the store, store cleanliness, charging and helping customers, and inventory.

The perfect applicant is someone who has an outgoing and positive, assertive and independent in completing tasks, and has a great work ethic.

Must have a flexible schedule and be available Mon-Sun, 9am-730pm.

The schedule changes weekly and is five days a week, 40 hours per week.

We are open to part-time candidates as well.

This position is a fast track option for those who want to grow and become an Assistant Manager.

When applying, please inquire which location you are applying for and if you are open to work at both locations.General AccountabilitiesOpening the store which includes sanitizing, making sure the drawer equals $300, turning on the lights/air, restocking, cleaning, and putting food away.Cashier duties include tallying up customer sales and charging them, making sure the register is accurate in sales by appropriately handing customers the correct change and charging the correct items, giving customers with the discount card their appropriate discount.Helping the owner with his consultations by gathering the items they need and explaining their protocol to the consultations.Helping customers gather their items and answer any questions they have.Inventory duties include breaking down the pallet and entering the items into Vend appropriately.

You will make sure to recount all the items one by one when entering them into the computer.

You will then put the items away in the bin by writing down the brand/size/flavor/for cat or dog/quantity or expiration date depending on the item.RestockingCleaningOrganizingClosing the store by counting the drawer and making sure the end-of-the-day sales are accurate.
