Position Title: Retail / Counter Sales w/CDL (Class A or B)Location: Gardena, CA (W017)Shift / Hours: Monday Friday / 7:00 AM 4:00 PMHow will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the safe and orderly stocking, storing, and labeling of all incoming materials and supplies at the location’s warehouse for future redistribution.
This position will additionally be responsible for the picking, packing and distribution of materials and supplies for delivery via outside carriers or local Airgas drivers to the customer’s location.In particular, you will:Sell industrial gases, welding equipment, power and hand tools to customers.Stock inventory and maintain showroom displays.Develop and maintain relationships with customersProvide support for the field sales representative.Identify, monitor and document competitive market activities by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.On an as needed basis, deliver compressed gas cylinders to customers in the area.Are you a MATCH?High School Diploma or the equivalent ; Two (2) year degree preferredMinimum of two (2) years’ experience in customer service and/or sales experience.Knowledge of welding, gases, industrial, safety supply sales preferred.Adequate computer skillsAbility to handle cash transactions accuratelyValid Class A, B, or C CDL with Hazmat endorsement is preferred but not required.Airgas offers a full benefits package includes:http://www.Airgas.Com/company/careers/employee-benefits QualificationsAbout AirgasAirgas, an Air Liquide company, is a leading U.S.
