Location: San Diego
Salary: $65,000 to $70,000 + medical + great work life balance
My client is a well established fresh and healthy fast-casual concept that is taking California by storm. Their menu has something for everyone – but most importantly they take pride in sourcing the highest quality ingredients they can obtain from local organic farms. They are conscious of providing nutritious food that tastes amazing and always conscious of looking after the planet whilst doing so!
We are helping them with their search for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join in the San Diego area. All applicants must be able to work well as part of a team, be high energy and organized, and possess the ability to take direction with a willingness to learn. You must be committed to serving the highest quality food and beverage at all times!
The ideal Sous Chef Candidate
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role (lead line cook and above)
- Experience working with fresh ingredients and passionate about healthy food
- Ability to multitask and perform required tasks in a rapid and organized manner
- Effective oral communication skills and the ability to work as a team player
- Must display the ethical and professional standards
- Must have stamina and be able to motivate teams on shift
- Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge to promote the culture and values of the restaurant
- Proven career stability and demonstrates growth
