Pastry Baker (Full Time + Benefits)

What We Offer:

  • Negotiable based on your experience ($15 – $18 per hour).

What You Will Do:

  • Work in a team to bake pastries from scratch, following carefully crafted recipes to maintain Erewhon product standards.
  • Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make pastries.
  • Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
  • Assist with pastry and bakery production, maintaining cleanliness and appropriate supplies stocked.
  • Creatively decorate pastries and bakery products.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers in making a selection.
  • Determine customers’ needs and make suggestions to up-sell products to the customer.
  • Ensure the highest quality of product is produced at all times and in a timely manner.
  • All other duties as assigned by Manager.

What You Will Bring:

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a fast paced baking environment required.
  • Knowledge of utilizing deck ovens, rack ovens, and proofers.
  • Availability to work late afternoons and evenings.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Great communication skills and work ethic.
