New Mezcal Bar and Kitchen in Atwater Village is Hiring for PREP COOKS AND LINE COOKS Sagrado will be offering Oaxacan inspired small plates and tacos made in a from scratch kitchen to accompany our extensive mezcal, cocktail and beer list.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Ability to work and communicate with other FOH and BOH team members.
-Knowledge and Experience in a Latin and/or Mexican Restaurant is preferred. Will train the right person.
-Ability to Read and Execute recipes consistently and properly.
-Ability to work quickly and cleanly in a high volume kitchen.
-Knowledge of local health regulations to ensure production of safe food for our customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience in a fast paced scratch kitchen. Will train the right person.
-Capable of taking direction, but also capable of working independently, effectively and efficiently with limited supervision
-Passion for the industry. We are building a team of professionals that are passionate about good food and Mezcal, especially the food of Oaxaca and Mexican food with a keen eye and palate for high quality.
COMPENSATION:
Depending on Experience LINE COOKS $20-$25/HR. PLUS TIPS! PLUS TIPS!
