We are looking for Prep/Line Cooks for our various Cheebo Express locations in the LA Metro Area. Cheebo has been a Hollywood mainstay for almost 20 years and is looking for hospitality professionals who want to take the next step in their culinary and hospitality career!

Cheebo is a member of the Byte to Bite Industries team: Byte to Bite Industries is a fast-growing operator of Restaurant and Culinary Centers (kitchens) in the Los Angeles Metro area. We are at the epicenter of food delivery takeout/pickup and the trend often referred to as Ghost or Cloud Kitchens . This is a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen that requires strong team members working together. Qualifications:
3-5 years experience
Flexibility to work in a fast paced environment
Food Handlers certification required (must comply with State regulations)
Team player
Responsibilities:
Cook and prepare a variety of food products including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List
Must be able to prep and portion product, fill line & stock with backups
Understand and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
Portion food products prior to cooking, according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
Stock inventory deliveries and kitchen product needs
Inform Kitchen Manager immediately of product shortages
Put away all orders as they arrive. Use day dots on all meat and dairy products. Rotate food by putting the old in front of the new
Clean work area before, during, and after each shift
Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
Maintain all Health Department guidelines, and ensure the kitchen is maintained in a clean and orderly manner at all times
Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
Promptly report equipment and food quality problems to the Kitchen Manager
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
Additional Information:
$16 – $18/hr pay with overtime options
