Head Sushi Chef – San Francisco NEW OPENING!

Salary: $90k-$105k + Bonus + benefits

About the client:

Our client is an international brand that puts extraordinary culinary experience and customer service at the forefront. They are looking for a Head Sushi Chef to join the diverse and passionate team at their brand-new location!

Head Sushi Chef Responsibilities:

• Work with the Executive Chef to support the Back of House operations and ensure the kitchen is operating smoothly
• Manage and lead a team of 10-12 sushi cooks and two chefs, continually driving quality and consistency
• Prepare exceptional Sushi and Japanese cuisine and continuously develop menus
• Work closely with the restaurant manager and team to ensure guests are provided with a 5 Star Experience
• Confidently lead the Sushi team and provide training opportunities and room for growth

The Ideal Candidate:

• 5 years of experience working as a Head Sushi Chef, preferably in a high volume restaurant environment
• Passionate about Sushi and providing a 5 Star Guest Experience
• Superb leadership skills
• Degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
• New openings experience preferred
