Executive Chef

Position: Executive Chef – Looking for experienced, motivated, and creative Executive Chef specializing in Mediterranean style cuisine.

Location: Downtown Cincinnati

Key Performance Elements/Essential Functions for All Culinary Managers:

  • Build and maintain food sales, affording the reputation as a leader in food service. Ensure the consistent delivery of high quality food in a clean, well-organized environment.
  • Responsible for the inventory, purchasing, receiving and storage of Company specified products.
  • Manages new hires and changes of status for back of house Team Members to ensure accurate and timely payroll and record keeping.
  • Responsible for rolling out new menus, products and promotions.
  • Assists in developing and executing all food related marketing efforts within the restaurant.
  • Supervises the quality of food preparation, limited time offers (LTO’s), raw product specifications, and Company Standards
  • Ensures a harassment free environment for all Team Members and Managers.

  • Has sound general knowledge of food preparation and service, and food safety and cleanliness principals.

Job Requirements:

  • Serve as executive chef for all locations
  • Discover the sensational flavors of seasonally changing menu
  • Improve menu quality and consistency by analyzing food production records and menu expenses
  • Set up service foods for dining room caf
  • Purchasing all food and non-food items
  • Utilize all web based informational systems, including web menu and catering menu
  • Get along well with diverse personalities
  • Set an example by maintaining food ingredients, food preparation, and general supplies by selecting and purchasing menu ingredients
  • Serving of food, food and labor cost control
  • Follow a predetermined menu and occasionally create special menu selections
  • Maintain proper inventory of food and kitchen related non-food items
  • Prepare food and coordinate food services for special community events
  • Evaluating the quality of fresh food and food product deliveries
  • Oversee the hot kitchen production staff to provide quality food and service to airline customers including menu presentations
  • Enjoy a chef-driven menu, exceptional service and a memorable dining experience
  • Manage and lead a team of employees and oversee all foodservice, safety, sanitation, purchasing, menu development, and menu costs for multiple restaurants
