Executive Chef

Independently owned and small operation in Calabasas area is seeking an Executive Chef to join the team. The intimate, less than 100 seat, restaurant is ingredient-driven and boasts a scratch kitchen with organic products when possible. Italian and pizza experience highly preferred. This an amazing opportunity for someone who is looking to add their creativity to the menu and join a concept that is passionate about providing amazing experiences to the community.

Exec Chef Responsibilities:  

  • Daily kitchen oversight
  • Responsible for maintaining proper ordering, scheduling, and inventory
  • Leading and mentoring a strong team
  • Maintain a positive, work environment via effective, professional communication with other employees and managers 
  • Interact and build positive relationships with guests

Exec Chef Preferred Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position (Executive Sous Chef, CDC, Senior Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager) 
  • Exposure to Italian cuisine & pizza highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Motivated and positive attitude
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays

Benefits Include: 

  • Base Salary in the $80-85k range
  • 50% medical coverage
  • 2 weeks PTO
