Your day to day
Effectively prepare and produce both hot and cold food for banquet events, catering events, employee cafeteria and hotel amenities in a fast-paced production kitchen environment
Understand proper food storage/staging, production timing, plate-up processes and dish-out processes for banquets, catering events and employee dining
Work closely and effectively with back of house kitchen management to maintain a consistent high quality product in regards to food preparation, presentation and service
Ensure that the highest level of guest experience is maintained at all times
Maintain a working knowledge and experience in food and kitchen safety
What we need from you
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a high volume kitchens preferred (hotel, resort, catering, restaurant)
This job requires the ability to perform the following:
Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
Moving about the kitchen
Handling food, objects, products and utensils
Bending, stooping, kneeling
May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
