Brentwood Country Club: Line Cook

Brentwood Country Club is seeking a professional Line Cook to join their Culinary Team.

The Line cook helps prepare meals as per the Club’s standard recipes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning food, preparing food, cooking meals, and keeping a safe and sanitized work station.

Experience in the Hospitality/Food Service industry is preferred.*Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to: ** Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.* Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.* Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.* Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking* Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience* Be a team player and be able to work in a fast-paced and professional environment*Qualifications: ** Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Line Cook* Current ServSafe Certification* Professional demeanor and attitude* Team PlayerBrentwood Country Club is an equal opportunity employer.
