Job Description
Fixins Soul Kitchen in Los Angeles, CA is looking for one bartender to join our team. We are located on 800 W Olympic Blvd. Suite A 150. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customer’s identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Learn Food Menu along with allergies and modifications.
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a bartender with a minimum of 2 years bartending in a fast paced full service dining restaurant
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate (LEAD or TIPS)
- Food Handler’s Certified (CA)
