Baker (Artisian Breads & Viennoiserie)

Bottega Louie Restaurant & Patisserie debuted in DTLA in 2009 and has since gained a legendary reputation as a world class patisserie and luxury Italian restaurant.

We recently opened our second location in West Hollywood and have opportunities for hospitality professionals to join our team.

We are looking for Bakers that embody the following:

A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
A genuine passion for providing the highest level of goods to our guests
Knowledge of food service regulations and proper food handling procedures
Excellent customer service and organizational skills
Maintain a professional appearance and the ability to adhere to Bottega Louie standards
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Must have a flexible schedule, available to work 30+ hours a week (for Full Time) including days, nights and/or weekends.

Part Time is available as well!

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Assist in creating recipes, ordering ingredients and coordinating baking schedules while focusing on quality and consistency
Ensure that all baked goods are handled with the highest level of care
Demonstrate and emphasize the importance of strong communication with the chef and team to ensure the best working conditions
Daily creations include, but are not limited to croissants, a variety of breads, and assorted baked goods
Maintain an organized and clean kitchen up to health code and safety standards
Demonstrate leadership by displaying job expertise, initiative, enthusiasm and have excellent communication skills
Perform station opening, closing and side work duties for each shift and always check out with the manager on duty
Understand and embody the Bottega Louie lifestyle, mission and brand

Qualified Bakers must be detail-oriented, have a team-based mentality and superb multitasking skills.

Two Years’ experience is a plus.
