We are looking to add the following to our team: Cashier Thank you for expressing interest in becoming a team member at Anwar’s Kitchen We are a new restaurant in Downtown LA’s Fashion District that is expanding to our second location in Culver City We are looking for team members with a lot of enthusiasm, are quick on their feet, ready to help out where needed and will like the exciting atmosphere we will be creating Our restaurants have been created by Social Media star Anwar Jibawi and his mother Amal.
Most of the recipes come from Anwar’s mother and have been passed down for generations.
Anwar and Amal have many IGTV & YouTube cooking shows and hence the start of this restaurant Our food is Mediterranean with an emphasis on Beef and Chicken Shawarma, Gyros, and Falafel.
We will be serving Wraps, Pita, Plates and Salads, along with traditional sauces made from scratch daily.
We also have the best Hummus in LA, as well as house-made Baklava.
About the Job : We are looking for Cashiers that can work part time 20-30 hours per week.
Some of the job duties will be to staff the front counter, greet our guests, take phone orders and enter them into our POS system (Toast), help pack delivery orders, and be able to work with cash, credit cards, and gift cards.
Must be customer service oriented, be able to work under busy conditions and help with stocking beverages, take-out containers, merchandise etc.
