Responsibilities X-Ray Technologist / X-Ray Tech / X-Ray The X-Ray Technologist will: Prepare patients for the procedure and position them for the best possible outcome.
Properly screen patients for contra indications for radiographic procedures Explain the procedure to patients.
Process x-ray images Utilize principles of ALARA and proper radiation safety techniques.
Demonstrate competency of the 10-day rule (pregnancy clearance) Keeps records of x-ray image, unit activities, and related records.
Assists in the care and maintenance of x-ray equipment.
Qualifications X-Ray Technologist / X-Ray Tech / X-Ray Qualified candidates will have: Must be ARRT (R) and have valid state licenses as Medical Radiographic Technologist CPR certification is required.
The COVID-19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment.
Education Completion of an accredited ARRT Other Skills and Abilities Familiarity with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
