Full and part time opportunities available for many positions.(br((br(WAGE: $22.00/Hour(br((br(Hiring immediately!(br((br(Essential Functions:(br((br(Plan and coordinate all on and off center work based learning sites for students on center.

These sites should encompass all career technical training offerings.(br(Facilitate, new, local and distant work based learning sites for students to obtain the necessary work(br(Log and track all work based learning hours for students in the work based learning program in center information system (CIS).(br(Establish a network of employers that consist of paid and unpaid sites.

These sites should be both local and distant.

The distant sites will represent work based learning opportunities for students.(br(Work with career technical training instructors to ensure students are learning the necessary skills to maintain success on the WBL site.(br(Attend all CRC and CIC meetings to ensure that consistent connections are being made with local employers and business to continue opportunities for students.(br(Work closely with the business community liaison at community events to publish and promote the WBL program.(br(Maintain a spreadsheet and other tracking documents regarding all students who are enrolled in the WBL program.(br(Assess students work skills, appearance and articulation skills before they are sent to a work site.(br(Conduct work based learning seminars with student s and instructors to highlight the importance of the WBL sites and expectations of the site.(br(Education and Experience Requirements:(br((br(Associate’s degree and two year’s related experience.

Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.

Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and computer proficiency required.

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.(br((br(About Los Angeles Job Corps:(br(Job Corps is a no-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S.

Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 to 24 improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training.

The Job Corps program is authorized by Title I-C of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (supersedes WIA 1998).
