Description: Candidates will be performing primarily MIG welding in a production style welding environment.
They will work with jigs and fixtures to weld their part and move at a fast pace.
Reading blueprints and quality checking their own welds is also a responsibility.
Shift: 2nd: 3PM-11:30PM (1:30AM w/OT) Duties and Responsibilities: Operate weld equipment as directed by supervisor Perform all position and types of welding including certified Report labor and job data accurately Maintain quality, safety and efficiency Maintain clean and neat work area Perform other jobs within the department or plant as required by supervision Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required Possess the ability to set up and operate welding machines Ability to read and understands prints, bills of material, ARI and safety notices Responsible and accountable for completing all job-related checklists and safety-related checklists, and lists pertaining to a particular cab or part and safety checklists at the beginning of each shift Additional Skills & Qualifications: Must Haves: 2 years of on the job welding experience or technical degree in welding.
