ACCU-FAB, INC., located in Raleigh, is looking for a Weld Department Team Lead to join our team on 2nd shift Essential duties and Responsibilities: Welding department day-to day management and supervision consisting of manual welding, spot welding, robotic welding and grinding teams in a fast-paced production sheet metal environment Proactively improve existing or develop new welding processes, develop new or modify current welding methods, techniques, and procedures Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, engineering, estimating, quality Perform daily department planning, scheduling, labor entry approval Lead department Lean and Continuous Improvement activities Perform other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum 5 years of steel & aluminum, MIG/TIG weld, spot weld experience Robotic welding, setup, programming, and troubleshooting for Fanuc/Lincoln weld cells, including setting weld parameters and optimizing torch path Familiarity of weld standards and weld system standards Familiarity with ERP systems regarding routing, material and inventory flow Manufacturing/Mechanical/Weld certification Lean manufacturing knowledge/certification Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Strong organizational and personnel management skills Hours: 3:45 pm
