Web Content Coordinator

This is a Contract position in Los Angeles, CA posted March 27, 2020.

3Di urgently requires a full-time contract Systems Analyst to serve as a Web Content Coordinator, for a period of twelve months, to assist with creating and deploying multi-purpose content into targeted deliverable for advertisement, social media, web email and intranet services. This resource will create, update, and enhance web content on public facing sites and applications. The resource will also be involved in the analysis, design, and presentation of web applications, working collaboratively with senior strategists, designers and subject matter experts. Duties will include, but are not limited to the following Upload and enter website content including imagery, files and text in various Content Management Systems (Sitefinity) Create, upload and maintain websites content including imagery, files and text using a Drupal Content Management Framework Maintain web front-end servers and some aspects of database servers Maintain the integrity and reliability of access to information including best backup and recovery practices. Deploy and administer CMS portals Post documents and announcements on the website Establish and maintain end-user access policy and permissions and delegating permissions authority where necessary Design, create, maintain, and organize site collections that support efficient workflows. Participate in user interface design as needed. Work with developers to create customized solutions including integrating third-party tools andor custom code into CMS Conduct research on emerging CMS development tools and strategies. Design and develop portal content and applications that integrate with other enterprise systems and third party products Provide expertise and support to end users and other members of the IT support team Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades Edit basic web content using HTML, with a CMS Ensure PDF files comply with ADA and WCAG 2.0 conformance standards and modify when needed Prioritize requests from different teams and execute accordingly Creating user manuals Minimum Qualifications The candidate must possess the following skills and experience BABS degree or equivalent practical experience Experience using Content Management Systems (Sitefinity a plus) Experience with HTML5 and CSS Experience performing website maintenance Posting and modifying web content Knowledge of best practices for web creation Understanding of general responsive design principles and solutions for the modern multi-platform web Ability to recognize and report technical issues Strong analysis, design and organizational skills Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and tasks, and meet deadlines for delivering assigned tasks Capable of adapting to changing situations and shifting priorities Ability to work independently and in a team environment Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills when interacting with all levels of management, customers, project team and staff Experience working respectfully in a culturally diverse work environment Working knowledge of the SystemSoftware Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Knowledge of Gather Content a plus Knowledge of Monsido a plus Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite and Gmail
