Wash Line Operator

Eco-friendly company in the LA area looking forWash Line operator (night shift)!$17.00 per hour plus overtime Earn up to $1,000 weekly
• Perform startup, shutdown, material changeovers and normal operating procedures for the Wash Line with minimal supervision
• Perform and track material inventory and production information by inputting required information in HMI interfaces and/or manual documents.

Adjust operating conditions and parameters for the equipment based on feedback from an HMI terminal and observation.Clean screens for water filtration, adjust settings for chemical dosing units, maintain optical sorting devices, exchange material binsTrack weights and data during batch processingTrack inventory levels of finished product (plastic flakes) as well as byproducts
– including emptying silos and hoppers and staging materials in warehouseIdentify equipment and personnel safety issues; coordinate with Shift Lead to resolve.Aid in the safety and operations training of new employees.Maintain compliance with company and OSHA policy regarding operations and safety issues, including but not limited to: lockout/tagout procedures, forklift operation, proper use of PPE, and sharps discovery and handling.Must clearly understand and perform all procedures and equipment per training and must attend all required training sessions (including safety training)Communication required with employees in all departments and functional areasMaintain cleanliness and organization on the line/surrounding area (including outside)Must be attentive to potential contamination issues and handle issues appropriatelyResponsible for following food safety requirements of the facilityQualifications5+ years operator/process experienceComfortable with light maintenancePlastics experience a plusForklift experience requiredMS office a plusDemonstrated safe work habits and extensive knowledge of workplace safety is required.Self-starter, Steller work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervisionKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to identify quality issuesAbility to perform simple mathematics is required, HS Diploma or equivalent is preferred.Ability to work quickly, especially during busy periods and maintain the area.Ability to work 12 hours per day, 3-4 days per week (7 a.m.

– 7 PM or 7 p.m.
