Who we need We are on an exciting path of digital and strategic transformation; we are looking for an entrepreneurial business partner and visionary collaborator to join us and steer the growth of our Entertainment Strategy.

You will work closely with functional leaders, including the President of IMAX Entertainment and the SVP of Strategy and Partnerships.

You will develop and execute annual and multi-year strategies to support business and growth initiatives for the Entertainment Business of IMAX.

What you’ll be doing: Develop short and long-term growth opportunities.

You will align the IMAX brand, current business models, strategies, and overall market dynamics.

You will analyze market research and consumer trends to uncover engagement or investment opportunities to drive growth in new verticals.

Design strategies .

You will engineer business cases and models for targeted partnerships across content development and technology.

You will guide, influence, and align the organizational strategy.

Build our presence.

You will lead and execute operational plans for new growth initiatives.

You will provide thought leadership to help increase our brand and industry profile.

You will maintain an in-depth knowledge of the client business and competitive landscape.

What we’re looking for: The expertise.

You have a degree in business management, project management, marketing, or a similar field.

You are a resilient people, project, and transformation leader with proven experience organizing and managing a cross-functional steering committee to evaluate options, drive change, and support operational excellence.

You have 10+ years of experience designing and executing strategic initiatives to fulfill a company’s vision, implementing organizational projects, leading change management, and aligning partnership and growth opportunities with organizational goals.

The entrepreneurial orientation.

You continuously look for and seize new profitable business opportunities and are willing to take calculated risks to achieve business goals.

You stay abreast of business, industry, and market information that may reveal business opportunities.

You approach your work as an owner, considering the best and most sustainable operational, revenue-generating, and people-engaging actions that promote our culture and success.

The project leadership.

You have expertise spearheading high-priority cross-functional projects from concept to completion.

You hold yourself highly accountable for the measurable and impactful success of your projects.
