This role is centered on driving cross-functional collaboration with the purpose of integrating an audience first, data driven approach landscape for an industry leading theatrical client.
Further and most importantly, you will be at the center of orchestrating ad-tech, data and insights into all forms of addressable media including leading a programmatic practice with influence over all other forms of digital and traditional media– playing a critical role in the day-to-day operations of all aspects of our team.
This individual must be comfortable working with senior stakeholders on both the client and agency side.
What You’ll Do * 50% Data/Ad Tech Strategy* Evaluate which audiences are optimal for media activation across a movies’ release cycle and manage the process of the data activation cross channel* Strategize and recommend opportunities to build out client’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data relationships and be an expert on the rapidly changing identity ecosystem* Stay at the forefront of industry marketing technology and best practices; and develop recommendations to continuously evolve client’s marketing technology advantages (CRM, DMP, CDP, etc.)* Develop a process for small-scale test cases to prove the business value of new initiatives, such A/B data testing, that can then be scaled out across all channels and campaigns* Champion the adoption and usage of data and technologies with media planning and analytics teams and help educate members on how these systems can be used to enable more efficient and effective advertising plans* Provide day-to-day management and mentorship to a team of data solution specialist * 50% Programmatic Management* Oversee team that manages buying-related technologies, including DSP’s, DMP, 3rd party ad servers and manual exchanges* Understand theatrical performance objectives and develop successful segmentation and optimization strategies to reach moviegoing audiences across platforms* Proactively work to identify cross-channel integration opportunities and programmatic campaign improvement* Stay current on platform features and techniques for activating, measuring, and optimizing media programs* Support traders in developing skills to identify optimization and growth recommendations* Support broader team in delivering program recommendations to evolve and improve over time, including providing insights into campaign constraints and untapped potential* Provide day-to-day management and mentorship to programmatic traders.
