About the Role:

You will own the credit products strategy and plan development.
Your Initial focus will be on our Credit Card launch.
the launch of our credit card by performing economic and market research analysis; product documentation and training; and serve as technical advisor on matters concerning all things credit card.
What you will do
- Lead credit strategy and product development priorities in partnership with the head of financial services.
- The Credit Products owner is accountable for leading teams in the design and delivery of credit solutions and for underwriting, structuring, and negotiating these solutions at the market level.
- Works closely with credit products third party service providers to ensure proper product delivery and servicing.
- Provides direction and support relative to product design, enhancement, research, pricing/fees/profitability, implementation, analysis, reporting, and performance.
- Works in partnership with risk management to ensure risk appetite is properly aligned with product pricing positioning and applicable loss ratios.
- Once the products are developed ensure training programs are effectively developed and rolled out.
- Effectively partner with operations and compliance on policies and procedures are documented and implemented.
- Lead pricing and positioning strategies in partnership with the finance and leadership teams.
- Monitor competitive environment and develop tactics to maintain competitive edge.
- Manage marketing content in coordination with the internal and external marketing teams.
- Product roadmap and priorities tracking by analysis and recommendations to enhance the product to provide better service to our customers
- Work closely with organizational leadership to define the vision, product strategy, and initial program constructs for third party-branded partners
- Partner across teams at all levels of the organization to incrementally improve speed to market for each branded third-party banking product launch manager product lifecycle in close partnership with technical product managers and business operations team members.
- Work with strategy leads to gain customer insight through field research, usability studies, and surveys to identify/prioritize product needs and ensure an industry-leading product
- Provide clear business requirements for development by technical Product Management and engineering teams
- Collaborate with legal, risk, compliance, and banking relations teams to ensure that all products are compliant; be the subject matter expert in regulatory discussions in partnership with compliance for product success
- Serve as the internal and external evangelist for the client’s customers and products, working with development, sales, account management, and operational teams including customer service, banks, and compliance
- Drive analytics to improve your product’s performance
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree 10+ years of experience as a product manager, with several years in a payments role
- Strong and demonstrated command of credit risk oversight
- Demonstrated success leading product strategy from concept to launch
- Experience authoring clear and actionable requirements in a high-speed, deadline-driven environment
- Experience managing consumer financial services products at a payments/banking/non-bank financial services organization
- Ability to see the big-picture/vision, with the drive to make that vision a reality
- Experience presenting to and influencing all levels of the organization including C-level executives
- Strong understanding of digital acquisition and associated marketing and risk dimensions
- Must have spent time in the market (with customers and partners) to understand their problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market
- Demonstrated understanding and exposure to credit product regulations.
