VP of Product, Growth (Remote)

We are looking for a VP of Product, Growth who is inherently aligned with our core values to influence and drive customer acquisition and successful onboarding across Aspiration’s business platforms, including but not limited to banking, credit card, B2B, and sustainable impact.

This critical leadership role will be responsible for leading data-driven decision-making to drive products to reach the next level of scale, impact, and profitability.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the product roadmap conversion funnel to deliver massive business results.
  • Charged with owning the customer funnel from acquisition to conversion to onboarding and activation.
  • Acute focus and diligence in growing the company by achieving short-term business goals and driving revenue.
  • Spot opportunities to provide an awesome customer experience while increasing account growth and LTV.
  • Establish healthy partnerships across Engineering, Design, Growth & Marketing, Business Development, Data Science, Customer Engagement, Operations, and Sustainability to foster an environment of accountability around quantifiable consumer outcomes.
  • Use data to drive product vision and definition of key success metrics to drive outcomes that transform the business.
  • Build world-class consumer experiences from concept to launch, and develop new strategies that drive growth, engagement, and monetization. 
  • Leverage data by using strong technical and analytical skills to exhibit sound product judgement—your understanding of data and consumer behavior will activate deeper engagement and improve business metrics such as customer lifetime value.
  • Increase customer engagement by analyzing and determining profitable customer cohorts and delivering retention solutions, accordingly—your end goal is retention—more users bring in more business.
  • Obsess on how you can drive more value from our products and get more customers to use it. 
  • Explore and execute on how we can use our product to drive exponential customer growth.
  • Analyze and obsess over results and owning a set of key metrics in order to drive impact.
  • Over communicate and collaborate cross
    – functionally in order to entrench a stronger growth mindset within core product development.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in building growth strategy plans focused on customer acquisition and retention.
  • Ability to define Aspiration’s target market [the right customer] and aligning growth plans against that market to ensure successful, effective, and sustainable customer retention.
  • A track record for identifying optimization opportunities across the customer lifecycles and using that data to deliver customer acquisition strategies and plans.
  • Problem analysis and prioritization; and the ability to clearly define the problem space, the impact of the problem, and the trade-offs made in making prioritization decisions.
  • Data-driven decision-making using data and broader market trends to support your trade-off decisions and problem impact estimations.
  • Experienced in data-driven customer segmentation and conducting growth experiments, A/B and multivariate testing, funnel analysis with a proven track record of success.
  • Influencing and communication to build relationships with your team, stakeholders and executives to deliver change effectively.
  • Customer advocacy by understanding the needs of our key customers on an ongoing basis and using this to drive effective prioritization decisions.
  • Shipping and execution by leveraging your team and stakeholders to drive objectives to completion and delivering consistent positive impact.
  • Drive ideas to fruition getting buy-in from key stakeholders with a scientific approach and ruthless ambition for short and long term growth.
