Summary: InVue corporate executive to lead global operations and supply chain management, Asia manufacturing/operations and global distribution to provide excellent service in a cost-effective manner to our customers.
This position is responsible for providing strategic direction and tactical support to ensure the highest level of customer service, order management, lowest total cost supply, optimal inventory levels, a capable supply base to support product development and a balanced order to delivery process to the customer.
Responsibilities: Serve on the InVue Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Develop people, processes and systems to deliver excellent service to our global customers Visit customers to ensure that we are meeting their service needs Work with our global sales team and customers to effectively forecast and service customers while meeting inventory turn and obsolescence goals Development and execution of product production, delivery and inventory management strategies and processes Manage the process of identifying and developing quality suppliers who match InVue’s need for quality, cost, speed and innovation Establish and enforce ethical and efficient contract negotiation policies and procedures Drive operational excellence and best practices across the network, reducing costs by 4% per year Work with cross business unit teams, taking a lead role in negotiating key supply contracts Lead the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures used by each contract molder and warehouse globally Develop Supplier and Contract Manufacturing Performance Management programs Reduce lead-time of supply Source, motivate, and evaluate the global customer operations team in all functional areas of responsibility Provide effective leadership and management to assigned staff Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, operations or related discipline Must have experience with global supply chain operations Contract manufacturing and sourcing in Asia highly preferred 10 plus years’ experience in a related position Excellent process management and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding Must be self-directed, have excellent initiatives and organizational skills Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills Travel as necessary to suppliers, sales offices and warehouses, approximately 20%
