VP Global Business Development

nnVP, Global Business Development will be responsible for strategy and execution.

Able to continue to build and develop our DBR Team.nn nnWill manage 5 Managers; total team of 35.nn nnThe Business Development team within Company serves as a crucial part of the overall Sales organization in building both sales pipeline and nurturing our next group of rising sales stars.nn nnOn the Business Development team, you will have the opportunity to learn the FinTech software space from the ground up and work alongside our world class Sales team to cultivate new sales opportunities.nn nn What you’ll do: nn
• Continuously elevate the Business Development function by providing strategic vision and plans
• Ensure overall business development goals, forecasting and headcount planning is aligned both functionally and globally
• Provide outstanding leadership to the business development organization and teams, through effective management of the leaders
• Lead and continuously develop a team of Growth, Corporate, and Enterprise Business Development Representatives and Managers in a virtual setting
• Recommend or approve strategies, processes and tactics that will continuously drive overall performance
• Ensure teams are achieving their objectives of finding and qualifying opportunities to pass to the AE teams
• Work collaboratively with Senior Company Leadership on overall demand strategy to build sales pipeline
• Report results to Executive Leadership
• Design and evolve Business Development compensation plans, spiffs, incentives, etc.

• Maintain a sales development culture that is productive, healthy and enjoyable
• Work effectively with Marketing and Sales leadership to ensure equitable global lead activity and performance
• Interact regularly and effectively with other customer-facing and go to market teams, ensuring optimal sales enablement and resources for the business development organization nn What we’re looking for: nn
• Proven success selling and managing in a high growth SaaS environment across market size
• Passion for sales development and developing high performing teams
• At least 6 years of experience leading multiple Business Development (Inside/Virtual Sales) teams, to include managing managers, including direct management of business development representatives in a B2B capacity
• Global experience preferred
• Knowledge of the FinTech space preferred
• Experience creating, managing or influencing a sales function
• Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and collaborative environment
• Preferred experience working with SalesLoft, LI Sales Navigator, Gong, Discover.org/ZoomInfo, and Salesforce.com
• Have built and led high-performing SaaS sales development/business development teams that have consistently delivered on pipeline and prospecting objectives
• Demonstrated track record of working in a results-driven environment that directly impacts the growth of the business
• Created effective prospecting campaigns in SaaS B2B environment
• Comfortable strategizing and consulting with C-level executives
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results driven environment
• College degree
