Virtual Training Producer

The Virtual Training Producer (VTP) will provide technical support for COVID-19 related trainings by producing web-based and virtual trainings which can be delivered via live streaming and/or recorded remotely for on-demand viewing.

The VTP will ensure the web-based, recorded, and live trainings run smoothly by testing materials and equipment before the trainings and byproviding technical assistance to hosts, panelists, and training attendees during the trainings.

The VTP will also provide support in editing recorded training materials and/or training modules.

In addition, the VTP will assist the training team with administrative duties such as scheduling live virtual training sessions and creating weekly training schedule.

The VTP is a direct report to theVideo Production Specialist in the Division of ODT for professional oversight and direction.

The duties of the Virtual Training Producer include, but are not limited to: Support ODT with training efforts related to COVID-19 response; Oversee live virtual training sessions by streaming, recording, and monitoring in a web-streaming platform; Provide support to training team in the areas of planning, organization, implementation and evaluation for recorded and live trainings; Schedule live virtual training sessions per training teams instructions and disseminates training schedule; Provide technical assistance before, during, and after virtual training sessions; S e rve as back-up facilitator when necessary; Provide evaluation materials by generating reports from virtual sessions; Assist in developing e-learning modules; Comply with training regarding confidential information related to personal health information; and Accept responsibility for other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications o One year’s experience in the operation of broadcast quality video production equipment; and o A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.Job Requirements: Desirable Qualifications oProficient in web-based applications such as CiscoWebEx.

oProficient in computer software such as Adobe creative apps and Microsoft Office365.

oWindows-based laptop or desktop device with a speaker andmic; oReliable Wi-fi/internet access; oAbility to maintain a professional, positive attitude and workethic; oHighly proficient in various computer programs, including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and other specializedprograms; oExcellent customer service, written and verbal communication, organizational, time management, and prioritization skills; oAbility to work well independently and withco-workers; oAbility to set and adhere todeadlines; oAbility to interact professionally with culturally diverse individuals during a time of crisis anddistress; oDetail-oriented; oMaintain a professional, positive attitude, and workethic; oDemonstrate flexible and adaptable to changing work conditions andschedules; oHold an excellent knowledge of video production software and equipment, and web-based trainingplatform; oComply with DPH training regarding confidential information related to personalinformation; oApply sound critical thinking and judgment skills;and oServe as Team Lead or Project Lead asnecessary.
